Produce Sales Position
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years of produce sales experience in the produce industry. Redland Fresh Farm is a diverse farming unit that grows specialty products from an acre hydroponic greenhouse that is USDA certified organic, 30 acres of exotic and medicinal produce, and over 100 acres of various tropical tree crops. Buying produce from Redland Fresh Farm is more than just a transaction. It's getting exceptional produce that is locally grown. Our mission is to sustainably grow and sell high quality, incredibly fresh organic and conventional fruits, herbs, vegetables and unique exotics from our local farms. Providing our customers with impeccable customer service that results in mutually beneficial and profitable relationships is our goal. The Sales Associate is responsible for promoting and cross-selling our range of products. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years experience in the produce industry that includes exceptional attention to detail, and a proven track record of sales success. Greenhouse Facilities Maintenance Technician
Redland Fresh Farm is seeking a skilled and reliable Greenhouse Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily upkeep of our facility in the Redland. This is a great opportunity for a bilingual (Spanish/English) individual with hands-on experience and a passion for quality workmanship. This role involves a wide variety of tasks to include, but not limited to general repairs to support with farm operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings, fencing, irrigation and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with plumbing, electrical systems, irrigation, and computerized greenhouse systems.
• Complete work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, and emergency repairs as assigned.
• Operate power tools, tractors, loaders and other farm machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe working condition.
• Support vendor or contractor work as needed during large-scale repairs or installations.
• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
• Schedule repairs and troubleshoot any system failures.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience in irrigation systems, plumbing and carpentry.
• Ability to read basic technical diagrams and follow instructions.
• Reliable, self-starting, and detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of farm equipment. Previous experience in farm maintenance a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, team oriented, yet can work independently
• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record. CDL, or heavy equipment certification a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must have computer skills
• Must be comfortable with monitoring a 24/7 greenhouse alarm system
Working Conditions:
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Occasional early mornings, weekends or overtime based on farm needs
Compensation:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: To Be Determined by the owner based upon skill set
Schedule:
• Day shift 7:00-3:30 PM
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
